It took us a while but we finally did it. Account firewall has just been rolled out and is now available for everyone! This great feature lets you secure your account from unauthorized access originating from countries you never travel to. It is no longer sufficient to just know your password, intruders must also be present in your country of residence. If you are planning a travel abroad – just login into your account prior to departure, adjust firewall configuration and you’re all set!
Firewall can be configured on Account dashboard. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and expand it.
We’ve taken precautions to avoid locking you out of your account accidentally. By default, when you enable firewall, your current country from which you’re accessing My ID HUB service is selected in your configuration and can’t be removed. You can only remove a country if you’re not physically present in it.
While we were at it, we also improved your Account Audit. You no longer need to scroll through a table full of data. It is now neatly organized in expandable rows.
Notice this green portion of the table – this is your current session. This way you know which actions were taken since you logged in last time and differentiate them from actions performed in the past.
Enjoy improved security and as always, feel free to drop us a line of feedback once you test-drive it.
